असम-मेघालय सीमा पर मंगलवार सुबह पुलिस फायरिंग में 6 लोगों की मौत हो गई। मरने वालों में एक असम का फॉरेस्ट गार्ड भी है। बताया गया है कि सीमा से सटे जंगल से कुछ लोग ट्रक से तस्करी करके लकड़ी ले जा रहे थे। असम पुलिस और फॉरेस्ट विभाग ने उन्हें पश्चिम जयंतिया हिल्स में मुकरोह में रोका तो फायरिंग हो गई।
