जबलपुर के माढ़ोताल मे स्थित शासकीय आईटीआई में काफी लंबे समय से स्पोर्ट्स टीचर पदस्थ होने के बाद भी यहां पर खेल गतिविधियों के लिए किसी भी प्रकार का खेल विभाग नहीं है ,जब इस संबंध में मीडिया ने प्राचार्य से चर्चा की तो उन्होंने कहा कि आईटीआई में शीघ्र ही स्पोर्ट्स विभाग चालू करवाया जाएगा ,जिससे आईटीआई के छात्रों को सभी प्रकार के खेलों को खेलने का अवसर मिलेगा,और यहाँ के खिलाड़ी प्रदेश ही नही देश मे भी जबलपुर आईटीआई का नाम रोशन करेंगे
