राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने शहडोल में जनजातीय गौरव दिवस समारोह के मंच से नियमावली का विमोचन कर पेसा एक्ट लागू किया। पेसा एक्ट लागू करने वाला मध्यप्रदेश देश का 7वां राज्य बन गया है। इससे पहले 6 राज्य हिमाचल प्रदेश, आंध्र प्रदेश, तेलंगाना, राजस्थान, गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र ने पेसा कानून बनाए हैं।

President Draupadi Murmu implemented the PESA Act by releasing the rules from the stage of the Tribal Pride Day celebration in Shahdol. Madhya Pradesh has become the 7th state in the country to implement the PESA Act. Earlier 6 states Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra have made PESA laws.
